The owner and the staff are super friendly, nice and warm;
The staff made sure to handle our car to grant us a space in their private parking. They also welcomed us with a bottle of water with lemon and mint: refreshing!
The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with many homemade items.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Air con was really efficient, important when outside there are 40 degrees.
Definitely recommended and great value for money.

Skanderbeg Square
Soon, this will be an impressive focal point for the city again. Right now, though, it's just a huge construction site. So skirt round it, being careful of the traffic, to visit the National History Museum or catch a performance at the National Theatre. Or climb the clock tower to view the work in progress and the equestrian statue of national hero, Skanderbeg.

This is lovely and a must for Tirana.
This is lovely and a must for Tirana. This is the main hero of Albania. It's a really quaint square with a carrousel. You can get to all points in the center from here. I recommend the restaurant pastaria.

This was the centre of the universe during our visit.
This was the centre of the universe during our visit. While we were in Tirana they were setting up a fun fair for the Christmas season. It was also during the football world cup, so they set up a giant screen and fanscene. We watched an England game with some local young men, very friendly and respectful.

The Square has been "remodeled" over the past 5 years. It's attractive, Listening to 1 of the talented traditional music who play there was a high point of our visit. The Libraria Adrion Bookstore next to the Opera House is wonderful, and has a good selection of books in Italian, German, and English for visitors,

Fantastic location walking distance to Skanderbeg Square. Spacious apartment with comfortable bed. Host was excellent - we had no data and couldn't find the apartment and ended up walking in the wrong direction. He ended up coming to pick us up and walk us to it so definitely went the extra mile (not just figuratively speaking).
Julio was very welcoming on the front desk, very friendly and willing to help with any questions about Tirana. The rooms were comfortable with the aircon, needed during the Albanian summer. Wifi was fast and amble room in the courtyard to sit and chat with others. Can do your laundry here for 5 euros too. A very nice stay here and the location is ideal, literally 3 minutes walk from Skanderbeg square!

Transportation was very easy with buses every 5 minutes, and taxis were also readily available outside the hotel. The place is right by the Skanderbeg square, spacious and clean. It has an AC in the living room and bedroom which was great to have during the heat of July. You have a view of the main square in the living room. We went with a car which we parked in the underground Skanderbeg parking lot (5 euro/24 h) but there is a bus stop directly outside the apartment, very convenient for those who take a bus from the airport. One can enter in the apartment with a passcode. Everything was smooth getting in and hostess was very kind.
The hotel is in a good location near Skanderbeg Square - all main attractions, good restaurants & cafes are an easy walk. The hotel has a quirky charm and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. I liked the breakfast.
