Nice country, lovely people. I didn't see black people there but nobody was looking at me weirdly (😁). You have nice places to visit. Unfortunately I was sick so I didn't go anywhere. I have done 2 restaurants so far: tymi was nice but the lamb was lack of flavour and sauce. Kebab restaurant, unfortunately the burger was not tasty. Next time, I will try more places.

Didn't know what to expect but it was good for a weekend.
Didn't know what to expect but it was good for a weekend. Not that much to see and do in the city so a longer stay would involve heading out into Albania, but good weekend. Definitely recommend the Dajti cable car, amazing views over the city and the hills around it.

I can’t recommend Tirana and its surrounding wonders enough.
I can’t recommend Tirana and its surrounding wonders enough. It’s a destination that combines natural beauty, rich history, and incredible hospitality in the most enchanting way.
. During my trip, I explored several stunning locations, each offering a unique charm. Kruja, with its historic castle and sweeping views, felt like stepping back in time. Berat, famously known as the "City of a Thousand Windows," was a highlight with its picturesque architecture and serene atmosphere.
Durres, a vibrant coastal city, offered a delightful mix of history and beachside relaxation. Gamti Mountain and Bovilla Lake provided some of the most awe-inspiring natural scenery I’ve ever seen. The hike to Bovilla Lake was worth every step—its crystal-clear waters surrounded by dramatic cliffs were breathtaking.

The best thing about Tirana is eating out and all the outstanding fruit and vegetables!!! The people are generally friendly and I felt safe. The weather is lovely. The streets are dirty - rubbish is everywhere and people/dogs/cats are searching through the rubbish creating an absolutely disgusting mess. People don't seem care about the environment, animals and the world. What is recycling? What is respecting the planet.... Cable car good. Fresku Restaurant outstanding. Take walking boots OR trainers. Deffo no high heals...

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Tirana
We stayed at 313 Villa City Centre in Tirana for one night and were very satisfied. The hotel is new, just a few months old, and everything is in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The room was comfortable and clean, making our stay pleasant.Safe Parking in the back of the hotel. We recommend 313 Villa City Centre to anyone visiting Tirana who is looking for a quiet and well-maintained place. Only 15 min walk from the City Centre. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Superb. Amazing facilities, super clean and very comfortable bed, I slept like a baby at that spacious room. bathroom very large, will dream having that at my own flat. The Hotel is located at hart of Tirana, just walking distance to the centre, shooing centre and lots of tourist attraction. you got Parking and everything you need at City Centre Hotel. staff very welcome, friendly . can’t blame most of them don’t speak well English, they are a Albanians ;) and very Helpful.
The flat is located in a very central location just a short walk from the city centre. Matias who met me at the property to do the check in was extremely friendly and always available via whatsapp when I had further questions. In addition, I was able to get a parking spot right inside the building which made the beginning of my trip through Albania pleasant, as I did not have to worry where to leave the car whilst exploring Tirana. Overall, can highly recommend this flat.
Very nicely designed hotel with swimming pool, garden, cozy restaurant. Near we found everything needed, TGE shopping centre was 7 mins away to drive, easy access to airport. Hotel manager organised us early breakfast before departure, we felt and were treated as special guests with all Albanian hospitality. I recommend and would definitely come back. Absolutely value for the money.
The hotel and it's amenities exceeded my expectations based on the price I paid. Although it was not at the city centre, it was about 2 minutes walk from the bus terminal where there were constant buses to and from the city center. The buses were very cheap and comfortable.
