Located in Hanoi, 7.4 km from Vincom Center Nguyen Chi Thanh, May's house (Nhà của Mây) provides accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a bar. My boyfriend and I initially booked 1 week and we've been extending for almost 2 months now! Rooms are very wide with tall ceilings, very clean, and beautiful. May is an absolutely wonderful host. She takes care of all the details; sometimes she cooks delicious vietnamese food for the guests, and she is always extremely kind and helpful. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, but also close to busier areas with restaurants and shops. Also, I work from home and wifi is very very good. Honestly, it couldn't be any better!!

Conveniently located in the centre of Hanoi, Hoàng Kiên Hotel is within a few steps of St. Joseph Cathedral and less than 1 km of Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. Our room, 101, was perfect for our stay in Hanoi. Our room featured a lovely balcony with a view over a small street - this is more like a narrow lane receiving only motorcylcle and foot traffic. We definitely enjoyed the balcony in the morning and evening. The room also had a refrigerator, electric kettle, air conditioner, flatscreen television, bedside table, night-lite, hairdyer and a large wardrobe which you can lock. There was plenty of hot water from the electric water heater in the bathroom. This hot water even reached the sink in the bathroom, not just the shower. There was a wi-fi router outside our room; the connection was consistant and the upload/downlaod speeds were both over 100 mbs duriing our stay. The hotel staff changed the bed sheets, duvet, towels and restocked the toilet paper several times. Hotel staff were very kind and welcoming and even provided complimentary snacks and toiletries in the room. Hoang Kien Hotel also has an excellent location just one block from the cathedral. We would absolutely stay here again. Many thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay in Hanoi!
