We loved our stay at the Yosemite bug rustic resort!! I stayed with my sister and we had our own tent. It was still cold outside over the night but we had a really warm & cozy blanket and the heater. A big thanks to the stuff!! Everybody is so nice! The receptionist & the stuff at the restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast & dinner at the restaurant, there is a cute fireplace & you have a great view in the nature. We are in love with this place!!
The room was superb - the bed was large and comfortable and the view over the creek was lovely - complete with a morning coyote visit. The balcony offered a great place to relax in the sun. There is an excellent DVD collection for late night movies. Parking was available. The Innkeeper/owner Pamela was very helpful with information on the park and walks etc.
As in their name states the location had a very nice rustic environment woth trees everywhere and a couple of nice viewpoints. We had access to a kitchen (and fridge) which was praticle if you bought your own ingredients for breakfast or lunch the following day (the restaurant does offer sandwiches "to-go"), and the restaurant/lounge area had a very nice warm vibe. Good variety of options for those planning on eating dinner at the restaurant (it all smelled and looked really good, huge portions).
Dinner and breakfast were outstanding for a mountain resort vibe. It was like a 5 star city restaurant. Bar/Tavern had great bartenders and well made drinks. Great place for families so we will be back with ours. So close to Hetch Hetchy which was a nice walk around.
Lonnie is the most welcoming and helpful innkeeper ever! Breakfast especially the french toast and the spinach/cheese rolls. One bed was excellent. Good View of trees and snow.
Absolutely everything. Pamela the Innkeeper was an incredibly warm, welcoming and thoughtful host. she provided lots of very useful tips and information on things to do and see in the local area. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness was exceptional. The proximity of the Inn to Yosemite made it a perfect base for a wonderful stay.
Nicely maintained historic hotel with ambience. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. Finn, the owner, very personable and really wants your stay to be the best it can be. Food in the on-site tavern was very good. They have a beer garden newly installed in the back that was very popular. Free parking and no extra charges such as resort fees.
It was a very lovely stay at Homestead Cottages. Rachel (the Innkeeper) checked us in and couldn’t have been more helpful - she was very lovely! The cottage was very well stocked eg cling film, cork screw, cutlery etc. It is very traditional decor. Wi-Fi was very good. Netflix and Amazon Prime was included on the TV. It was about a 45 min drive to the South Entrance of Yosemite.
We had a lovely a lovely stay at Homestead Cottages. We were given a free upgrade as where on our honeymoon! They're was a lovely bouquet of flowers in the cottage. The cottage was well equipped with nice rustic touches. The area was so quiet and peaceful. Rachel and Gary the inn keepers were so kind and welcoming, I'd highly recommend staying there to others. They really went out of their way to make us feel special (even letting me use his telescope for the amazing stars)
Really liked the location. You're literally next to Yosemite National Park. There is also a small, self contained kitchen with everything you need to fix a dinner for a few people. A shop for basic groceries is also available adjacent to the lobby. There are two restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. The breakfast was alright but a bit expensive (~20 per person for a meal and drink after taxes) Main room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I personally liked the rustic indoor style.
