Situated in Escalante, Ponderosa Inn features free WiFi. The rooms have air conditioning, a desk and a flat-screen TV, and some units at the inn have a patio. This room was excellent! The self checkin was extremely easy. The owner was always available and just a phone call or text away. I stayed in the Alpha Den which was great. I loved the wolf motif since I am partial to wolves. It was cozy and had everything you could possibly want. The towels were SO soft and it even had real toilet paper and kleenix which you don't get at many motels. They didn't spare anything. It was just perfect! If I am through this way again, I will definitely stay here. The location was good too, close to market and restaurants and many activities on Hwy 12. I highly recommend!!

There are many board game,too. so every time we go, we enjoyed family game time!! inside room, it's very clean& l like kitchen area. we bring instant pot or electric pan to cook. This time They got outside jacuzzi!! (we should brought swim suits) my husband enjoyed it after skiing!!

The encounter with other guests was very pleasant and a different experience from the anonymity that prevails in hotels. Conversely, the days the Inn wasn't full, it felt like having the house for ourselves. The garden, terraces and distance from the road were great. Zion NP is a 10-15 min drive away.
