Set in Sanibel, 200 metres from Gulfside Beach, Sunshine Island Inn - Adults only offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and barbecue facilities. Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, the 2-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Some units at the property feature a patio with pool view. We liked that the rooms all opened onto the pool deck. They were clean and had everything you needed.

The inn also offers free use of bicycles. Sanibel Chamber of Commerce is 1.4 km from Seahorse Cottages on Sanibel, while San Carlos Bay Beach is 60 metres from the property. The nearest airport is Southwest Florida International Airport, 28 km from the property. Our unit was great and the bed was the best we have slept in for a while. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was super clean, new and comfortable.

Tarpon Tale Inn is set in Sanibel, 1 km from Sanibel Lighthouse and 1.4 km from Sanibel Chamber of Commerce.
Every room at this inn is air conditioned and offers ground-level access. A flat-screen TV is provided. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. You will find a coffee machine in the room. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer.
We liked the location to the different beaches that could be traveled to by walking for bicycling. Providing beach chairs and a cart to carry them in was really appreciated.
The bikes provided were our transportation to the beach, to dinner, and to our town tour. This was perfect for our anniversary stay.
The inn was wonderful! The staff went above and beyond, and were very friendly! They provided all the additional equipment you could possibly need; bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, shelling equipment, coolers, filtered water, etc. They also had lovely outdoor lounge areas, including two hammocks, several lounge chairs, two outdoor grills, and an outdoor shower! The location is perfect, we are partial to that area and it is right down from where we rented for several years! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
I was so impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of my studio. The owners have also done a wonderful job of providing lots of thoughtful extras that go above and beyond a typical beach inn. Everything from plenty of towels, easy access to bikes to inviting sitting areas scattered through the property make this a special and charming place to stay on the east end of Sanibel.
The owners/innkeeper thought of everything a guest would need for a beach vacation. The grounds of the inn were beautiful.
Location was awesome, the room was great, clean, bright and comfortable. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach. The resort had umbrellas, chairs and bicycles for resort guest. We were right across the street from the lighthouse Cafe and the best ice cream shop on the island. Joe (the owner) and Dawn were extremely friendly, they really cared about our stay. We have been to Sanibel many times and stayed at a few different resorts, we will definitely be returning to Tarpon Tale Inn soon.
island Inn is right in the beach. their accommodations are beautiful and there are umbrella and chairs for their guests on the beach.
