Breakfast was great. We didn't have a chance to have dinner, but if breakfast is any indication, I'm sure the food would be great too. Banana Dog Cafe (a food truck run by the owners daughter on premises) makes the BEST coffee. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. A short (4 mile or so) drive into town for more shops & restaurants.

The Inn on Pamlico Sound has free bikes, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and private beach area in Buxton. The room was comfortable and inviting with a nice view. I liked there was a connection to the restaurant without having to go outside. Really liked the duel headed shower idea.

Homestead Inn - Blowing Rock is situated in Blowing Rock, within 25 km of Sugar Mountain Resort and 28 km of Grandfather Mountain. It was very convenient to everything! Right downtown. Room was very clean and the fireplace was so cozy. Thank you for making our stay so nice. We will be back
