The location is awesome! Have plenty of restaurants nearby. We walked across street Drake's to meet and have a dinner with our family. We didn't have breakfast there as they open at 7am, we thought it is 6am so we missed it. Have to leave early to continue our road trip to Virginia. The Starbucks staff was very sweet to my little son. The staff at front desk are very friendly too, nice people working there!
The owners of this inn are very nice and accommodating. With the exception of the occasional train that goes by, it is very quiet and peaceful here. There is also so many antiques to look at in the inn always.
Location was great. Close enough to Cincinnati but not too close to have traffic. Near restaurants and gas station.
Location and convenience to Cincinnati and the Ark
We were able to get a last minute reservation after visiting Mammoth Cave Park. The Inn was beautiful and the owners were very welcoming. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and across the street were the ruins of a tavern from the 1800's. We love antiques and enjoyed exploring the Inn and all the period decor. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests before we checked out.
The location was excellent! We were on the bourbon trail and this was in the heart of it. The bar in the tavern was wonderful and so was dinner and breakfast. The staff spent time with us and had great stories!
The Talbot is a wonderful old tavern, restaurant and inn. I loved that it is located in the middle of bourbon country.
Boone Tavern is a beautiful historic inn nestled in a beautiful college small town.
We loved seeing and hearing about the history of the tavern/inn. Reportedly haunted, something turned off our sound machine on night one and placed my cell phone under the bed. Very spooky.
