Sitting on a terrace sipping wine, enjoying the sunset while watching passing wild duck (or geese). Very nice sunny room. Not to forget the funny and informative receptionist. So in total good value for the money.

We were happily surprised by the location/ in the middle of a gold course. It is a classic historical building with tradicional and very well kept installation. Very spacious room, updated bathroom facilities with good quality products. Great location/ close to restaurants. Reception extremely helpful.

I mean the room looked like from museum except for it was my room. The hotel is since 1776. I was super happy I chose it. One of a life time experience for me!

This Middletown inn is 10 minutes’ walk from fishing and boating in the Connecticut River and Wesleyan University is 5 minutes’ walk away. Outstanding service. Especially front desk and morning restaurant hostess. But everyone was kind, professional, accommodating. Truly impressive.

Simsbury 1820 House is set in Simsbury, 14 km from University of Hartford and 16 km from Elizabeth Park. Great hotel with a wonderful room in a charming small town. I have to give a special shoutout to Kai, the manager—she’s absolutely amazing! So accommodating and kind, truly a gem. She made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you, Kai!
