Paje Beach, Paje
All rooms at the inn are fitted with a seating area. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, while some units at Chokoro House also feature a terrace. At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Breakfast and the hosts was amazing. Very dynamic if we had special requests or needed help. Perfect for our family and a very quiet place.
Jambiani
Set in Jambiani, Ladha ya Zanzibar Boutique Guesthouse offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Paje Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests.

It is on the beach and quiet and the restaurant is very good. The room is very comfortable and the bed excellent. The bathroom is large and hot water and pressure are fine.
Zanzibar City
The hotel organises an important range of indoor services such as massages in our spa room, live band swahili dinners happening in the tea house on the roof top and outdoor activities including visits to Stone town and Spice plantations. I was traveling alone. The room was perfect to rest, the food was delicious, and it was close to touristic spots.
Nungwi
At the inn, the rooms come with a wardrobe. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, some rooms at Cactus lodge Zanzibar also boast pool view. At the accommodation rooms include bed linen and towels. The staff went above and beyond for us ensuring that we had an amazing stay at cactus lodge. The facilities were great and the location was ideal. Would 100% recommend!

The accommodation, the food, the staff. So amazing, so friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and close to all attractions and across the road from the sea. Breakfast is included and is so delicious and cooked to perfection.

The hotel is located on the beach, an hour's drive from Stonetown. The atmosphere of the hotel is very similar to home with a very attentive host. The host helped us plan our tours at an affordable price. The rooms are clean and tidy. The view from the beck side of hotel is a tropical forest and you won't regret it if you choose this side. Also, you have plenty of chooses of local of European cuisine and really worth to take dinner in your order.
Salene and the team were all very helpful with information and support, even with guide services. The room was simple, but everything was tidy. The inn is close to the beach.
We stayed 8 nights in Alladin in July 2024. Great hotel with a super staff. The food was really good, with many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has nice hotel rooms, with cleaning two times a day. Great beach with not to many people. Recommended!
The dinner in the beach and local performances were very good
We were made to feel really special from the room upgrade to the scrumptious dinner and breakfast on the patio. The chef treated us to a special seafood treat that was extraordinary. The staff was very attentive and came often to check on us which made us feel very taken care of. We truly appreciate you making our weekend special. At Maharaja, you're treated like a Maharaja (royal)!
We came to kasha hotel to rest after climbing Kilimanjaro. I must say that this hotel was the perfect little gem we needed . There’s absolutely nothing you can fault . Rashid the manager was the most helpful person throughout our stay . The staff is just amazing and extremely polite. The food was amazing from breakfast to dinner . I would definitely come back to this peaceful beautiful resort and would recommend it to anyone.
It’s a very quiet location with not too many people on the beach with very few locals hassling you to buy stuff or go on trips. The accommodation is very rustic and gives a real Island feel. The staff are amazing. Every single one of them were very friendly and helpful.
This place was a hideen gem. The hostel is one of the oldest guest house in the city, full of old photographies an objects, carpets on the floor and spaces were to sit and relax. Amazing rooftop with view on the port and the sea life. Nice sunset. The stuff extra friendly, the girls who served breakfast as well, take care of the details. They can order food for dinner or lunch in case you need it. Walkable distance from the centre.
The view from this hotel is excellent. The bed was comfortable. One could walk down to the beach easily. If you are on a very tight budget, this is an ideal place to stay, do not expect the usual luxuries associated with beach resorts. If you like a rustic feel of an old inn, with weathered walkways, steps and exteriors of the buildings, then you will be at home.
