Chill Roof Hotel is located in a convenient area in Taipei, with two metro stations nearby (Songjiang Nanjing station / Zhongshan station), and only... spacious and clean, beds are comfy. and the room that i chose has a dining table as well which was perfect for my family of 4! free snacks and drinks were provided too:) location: about a nice 10min walk to the nearest metro station. has a convenience store right opposite the hotel too! definitely recommended!!

Although it is located in Ximending which is known for being busy, the hotel is tucked back in a side street away from all the noise. It is a 10 minute walk to the Ximen metro station exit 6 and has everything you would want within a block (restaurants, convenient stores, coffee shops, shopping and street food). This was THE BEST experience we have ever had with the staff at a hotel. They are kind, caring, really care about your convenience. The hotel is clean, room was pretty spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is roomy with a Japanese toilet (will miss the heated seat), shower has plenty of hot water with good pressure. The bed is a bit firm but only if you have an issue with your back. The breakfast was AMAZING. we could not get over the options and the portions. There is laundry on site, a small kitchen in the common area and plenty of drink options in the morning. We will definitely come back and stay at this hotel. Normally we would not want to be in the middle of action but this hotel just has too many positives for us to go somewhere else. HIGHLY SUGGEST.

Location excellent, close to Taipei main station and the airport line as well as shops. Free breakfast which is hearty and savoury next door. Good shower. Room is perfect size for a single person. Although I didn't use them it also had a laundry machine and drier to use (pay to use). Dropped my bag off before check-in. It was self check-in but they sent me via booking the code to get in the door. And used the same machine to check out which was easy to use.
