The manager was very friendly, provided great recommendations and was very accommodating with our requests.

Set in Taichung and within 2 km of Fengjia Night Market, 想想旅居 Allegro Hostel has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. This hotel is tucked away in a quiet alley way very close to the MTR and other public transportion options. It is no frills but offers a decent bed, private bathroon, good wifi, and even the ability to do laundry (they provide detergent but I think you have to hang dry, which I did not have time for but I think it pretty typical for Taiwan) Taichung Central Park is nearby and EXCELLENT if you are a runner.

I will definitely book this hotel again in the future. 5 mins walk from Taichung Main Station. 5 mins walk from 7-11 and Family Mart. 5 mins walk from nearest Fastfood (KFC etc) Bus station in front of the building. Several food stalls/asian restaurants nearby. Rooms are spacious, modern in design/pleasant looking and most importantly clean. Water closet is modern/automatic. Shower is modern, water pressure is strong. All sockets are international, no need for adapter. Great value for money!

Very close to the train station not the high speed one though but the bus stop for it is very close, staff were friendly clean facilities

It's very noticeable. The rooms are really clean and smell fresh. Everything you need is provided. Location is very nice as well. It's near the station and popular spots and mall area. There's a lot of restaurants around the hotel as well.
