Ko Mak
At the inn, rooms include a wardrobe. Every room is equipped with a kettle, a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and free WiFi, while selected rooms include a balcony and some have sea views. All units at By The Sea Koh Mak Boutique Guesthouse include air conditioning and a desk. This was an amazing stay, I was there for nearly a month and because it's low season, I was the only guest most of that time. At first I was worried, but it worked out beautifully. The staff treated me like family, I got into a good routine with my work and being social at the cafe and the bar, the coffee is really good and the food was awesome too. I appreciated that they only had glass water bottles that were refilled and that their menu was based on what was available so that there wasn't wastage. The pool was awesome and also the hammock outside my room. They have a few dogs that were very friendly too. I can't express how much this felt like home during my stay and in particular Pawn and Arthur went out of their way to see that I had a most amazing time, all the staff were great and I enjoyed being able to speak Khmer with the Cambodian team members. I absolutely loved it and will be visiting again!

The rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a wardrobe. We stayed here many time before. It was very clean and comfortable room, very well located and the terrace rooms come with a beautiful sea view. The staffs are friendly and helpful especially ‘Name’ and ‘LeeLee’ they are super friendly. There are also nice options for breakfast (8:00-10:00).

Close to the best beach, restaurants & shops.. the best thing is that it is open long in the evening so always possible with a kebab at 2am. You will also find the best clubs in the area & the funniest people. The owners are very friendly and helpfull! I will comeback

The staffs are really nice and helpful. The breakfast are very good but there are quite option for lunch and dinner. The adult pool is very beautiful.
Very rustic feel, excellent beach location. We stayed in a deluxe villa basic but okay. The staff are very good, can hire bikes, their restaurant food was very good but breakfast was limited. Beach always cleaned.
Absolutely Fabulous Hotel wonderful experience starting with the helpful , & Friendly staff . the Pool was large and had a fine pool bar the Restaurant was amazing with wonderful food and a varied menu . We had a huge Room with a large bath and a big shower also a sizeable balcony and a tremendously large and comfortable bed also the room had a well stocked mini bar . the staff really went the extra mile helping us arrange dinner on the beach and some excursions I would without any Hesitation stay at this Hotel again
A charming guest house on the pier right above the water with a lovely view. The rooms are very rustic and a tree in the bathroom was a first for me. If you are travelling to Koh Mak on the Boonsiri ferry as I was the location is excellent, just a short walk along the pier. There is also a nice restaurant at the guest house and a 7 eleven nearby and lots of souvenir shops on the pier.
This is such a wonderful guest house. The owners are such kind people. I loved the outside space and having conversations with them both and their lovely son. The hotel room is spotless and they really have thought about everything. I wouldn’t hesitate staying again.
It is very beautiful place. I like the rustic style. We got room on big discount. You can book trips right from the hotel. You can request laundry services as well. You can get taxi for 50 baht and go to nearest town to have lunch or dinner and check unique stores. Hotel restaurant was super nice, delicious dishes. Boat to the beach is fun.
The boss is very friendly and made us feel at home. He organised a dinner with all the guests where he cooked for everyone, that was amazing. We rented a motorbike for 2 days and a half (because we arrived late in the afternoon) and he only charged us for 1 day. The bungalows are nice and the place is cool.
The location is very excellent- long and clean beach with sunset view. Very appreciate with peaceful time. The resort is good for people who enjoy nature such as beach, kayak and relax. Compare with other hotels, it may far from minimart or market but we can prepare all things before arrive. Then enjoy time here. Staff are great manner and welcome to help guest. Dinner is not much menu but enough for family and good teste. Rooms are clean.
The island was rustic. The resort was not. The staff were exceptional. Prim at breakfast made certain I had gluten free options. The sunsets from 7404 were stunning. The gardens were beautiful. Pat, about 7 shops away arranged transportation, snorkeling and laundry for us. We enjoyed going to kaibae for dinners. The resort thought of everything including a beach bag, robes, and umbrellas. Perfect holiday.
