Pak Chong
Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, the rooms at the inn have a TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms have a terrace. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Location was good. Quiet place. Liked the river at the back, the many places to hangout outside of the room, and sounds of the squirrels. Staffs were very friendly and accommodating. The porridge, banana leaf packaged snacks, and fruit at breakfast were good.
Very rustic and close to nature
Lovely, quiet spot near the entrance to the National Park. The grounds and pool were beautiful and the tent had everything we needed plus some great extras like bags for us to use while there. The shared bathrooms were clean and easy plus breakfast was a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful! A short walk into town for dinner or a visit to 7-Eleven. We did a 2 day safari with their recommended guide company and it was a great experience! Highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway and easy access to the park.
The host was very friendly and helpful. She helps us find transportation to go around the areas. She is even willing to drive us out for dinner when she finds the price of the transport is too high.
Rooms were very spacious and had a nice and cosy atmosphere. The view to the garden was nice and calming. Bed was very comfortable and the A/C was working perfectly. Staff were friendly even though they didn't speak English very well. Food for dinner was good but a bit more expensive. Enough parking spaces. The entire property is nicely done with local design and it was well taken care of. Highly recommend to stay here.
The owner Jessada is very helpful and attentive to customer needs. The first evening he invited me to dinner with his dad and a friend of his, it was a very nice evening of sharing. The campsite is a little out of the area but allows you to have an authentic and local experience.
Loved having dinner and drinks on the special round seats located within the pool. Loved the range of cocktails served... and enjoy happy hour up till 7pm. Great food for most of our selections (lobster bisque, pad thai, etc..) Good breakfast buffet with both local and continental options Nice clean room with small balcony but enough space to seat 2 persons Warm friendly and attentive service. BEST : They have 2 Alpacas, 4 Silky chickens and around 7-9 rabbits which are such a joy to watch, feed and play with.
The breakfast spread was ok, the pool view from our room is fantastic. After playing golf, we didn’t want to go out for dinner but the Thai restaurant right at the front served us good food. Just a few steps away from the hotel.
Location for the national park was unbeatable. Beds were comfortable and shower was good: plenty of hot water and good pressure. There was a good choice of local food for dinner and breakfast.
buffet breakfast was really good. including the food ordered for lunch and dinner. overall it was a really refreshing stay.
Quirky property, there is an extensive memorabilia museum as you walk in (past Marilyn Monroe and the Blues Brothers) and then across a suspension bridge over a river to reach the hotel rooms. The rooms are a good size. Lovely pool for guests. Bar and cafe on the accommodation side of the bridge… breakfast and lunch/dinner restaurants are on the entry side. There’s a wide outside communal verandah space behind the downstairs rooms overlooking the river. Easy walk into town (circa 10 mins).
