The room and building were spotlessly clean. We had a great view as well. Location right in the centre of town. Breakfast was included and, although not lavish, it was very good with a selection of gluten free and lactose free options which was more than we expected. We went out for dinner but there were fully equipped kitchens if one wanted to cook.

Near to everything in town, you don’t need to pay extra for afternoon tea and dinner, you feel at home. Cleanliness. Quite.

Friendly host,who answered a couple of queries I had about the area very quickly. Parking next to accommodation. I booked last minute, host came to meet me to show me where to park. Cabin had toiletries, towels and bedding. Kitchen is basic, but more that enough for me to cook dinner and prepare lunch for my onward journey.

Breakfast was perfect - we were 6 people in the restaurant on Sunday morning. Private sauna in the apartment was great, especially in the beginning of December. Nice smell at the reception. Plenty of towels in our room.

Travelled with new frightened dog all the way from South Sweden. Had not eaten all day and couldn't leave dog alone. Staff arranged a dinner for me. Heaven sent❤️

We had a great stay. Our hosts Pekka and Monica couldn't be more helpful. We were dropped off and collected from the High Coast distillery (great experience). We ate a delicious home cooked dinner on our first night (Pekka is quite the chef). Pekka spent a lot of time with us planning our self drive trip around the high coast. Breakfast was fantastic. We felt so welcome. It is no surprise this property rates as highly as it does.

Great location on the waterfront. 5 mins walk from railway and bus stations. Wonderful view across the harbour. Kitchen with usual facilities. Italian restaurant on premises for lunch or dinner. Övik is a nice town and a good base from which to explore the area. Would stay again.

The concept of the hotel reminds of a youth hostel but with smaller rooms. We had quite new rooms with rainshowers and comfy beds. The kitchen on the floor where you can have breakfast could also be used to prepare your own dinner and breakfast was good. Also the location is really good for exploring Skuleskogen national park.
