Small but atmospheric place by all means. Would suit everyone who is looking for a chill, quiet place to stay for a night or two. The venue has everything you need. Especially liked a cafe with a retro interior. And delicious waffles :) NB! Cafe is working only during weekends.

Set within Roslagen in a nature reserve on Lidö Island, this guest house is a 10-minute ferry ride from Räfsnäs Ferry Terminal. we had rented a Cottage near the mainhouse. Very quiet, only short walking distance to the restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice walkways on the island and a small beach. Easy to spend a couple of relaxing days. Ferries go to the neighbouring Islands regularly, shopping only possible in Gräddö.

Housed in a building built in 1658, Värdshuset Engelbrekt is located in central Norberg. This inn features a restaurant that offers traditional Swedish cuisine. Free WiFi and parking are offered. Värdhuset engelbrekt is a small charming, comfortable, quiet hotel or inn. Centrally located, parking easy to find. We had an excellent stay - it's hard for me to find anything to criticize. The staff we encountered were exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful, The breakfast was very good - possibly could have had a bit more fresh fruit and a bit more varied bread (though I noted they had gluten free bread available which is nice, also a lactose free milk alternative). I guess that is all I have by way of criticism.

Situated next to Storsjön Lake, this inn is less than 2 km from central Forsbacka and 15 minutes’ drive from Sandviken. It offers a restaurant with a bar and furnished terrace. Johan was a delight, he went out of his way to make us comfy. . The property was historic and very interesting. The surrounding area was gorgeous.

Housed in a 17th-century building in central Säter, this hotel offers rooms renovated in 2014, with a TV and private bathroom with shower. The Film and Cinema Museum is 10 minutes’ walk away. The couple who run the hotel are amazing people. They are super friendly and professional! The house is an old, yet very well maintained building. the decoration is tasteful and clean. It is centrally located. The restaurant is fantastic with delicious food and the service is truly the best service I have seen in Sweden. My daughter’s soup was too salty and the Chef himself came to apologize and offered her a new dish on the house! I have only seen this kind of service in North America!

Overlooking the Kolbäcksån River, this refurbished 17th-century inn is 300 metres from Kolbäck Station. It offers a large garden, a private beach and free parking. It was really quiet, the staff was lovely, good location
