For a budget motel, it was very comfortable and in a great location. The room had a little patio and maybe 100 yards away was a lovely little lake.
Its charm and elegance. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. Dinner in hotel restaurant was delicious also breakfast.
Newly renovated and modern. With an entry code for the main door and self-checkin. It was nice to have our dinner in the backyard.
Wonderfull host. She had just baked some cinnamon rolls, they were absolutely lovely. The host remodeled their garage into a nice and cozy apartment Full kitchen, propper rainshower, walking distance from the ferry dock and town center. The back garden is available to watch the sunset over the lake (though standing on the pier its better)
EVERYTHING. Immaculate, beautiful stuga, best dinner we’ve eaten in Sweden, wood-fired sauna by the lake; the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Our 2nd stay over 8 years.
Breakfast was plentiful and accommodating. The pay-for buffet dinner in the restaurant was also great value. Location perfectly central in Gislaved.
The personal way of welcoming us. The owners left us some cool drinks and homemade cinnamon rolls. It is a very clean and neat property with a nice view on the lake.
Smålandsgarden is a stunning place, situated right at a lake and with a very calm atmosphere. The room is decorated in a simple Scandinavian way. There's no TV set which somehow adds to the tranquillity though. Breakfast and dinner were both good, too. Everything at a reasonable price by Swedish standards. Staff has been very friendly.
The location of the hotel directly next to the lake is amazing. If you get a room with a view to the lake, the sunrise you see from there is fantastic. Sauna and Lake give you a great relaxing experience. You should definitely enjoy the dinner there. It's hard to find a better Burger 🍔
Such a great place! Freshly renovated super clean rooms. Very friendly and professionell staff! The dinner at the restaurant was great too.
