we don’t give easily full 5 stars, but Casa do Manego fully deserves it. Stunning view, very complete room with separate bedrooms, lots of nice details! the place was spic&span, nothing to wish for. Reality is better than the pictures on the website. Very good value for money! thanks for having us

Great views and good traditional Breakfast The staff so friendly and we also ate in the restaurant in the evening
Vila Nova de Foz Coa
Casa Vermelha has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Vila Nova de Foz Coa. Located around 16 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, the inn is also 41 km away from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum. Some rooms at the property have a balcony with pool view. The hotel was fantastic and the staff person working there was wonderful - she was very cheerful, friendly, lovely with the kids, and handled all our questions The pool was also great! We all loved our stay and would definitely go there again.

Friendly lovely local staff, very great service, comfortable times for check in/out and breakfast. The breakfast was compact and tasty. The dinners where traditional Portuguese with very big portions and a lot of taste.
This was by far the best place I stayed in Portugal, thanks to Miguel's thoughtful and caring attention to detail. The experience was exceptional—from the immaculate rooms and beautiful space to the stunning views and pool. Our highlight, however, was the dinners. Not only were they superb, but dining together with other guests and the owner created a truly magical experience. You must stay for dinner; it’s an unforgettable part of the stay.
Room was incredibly spacious, with the location nice and close to the local village for dinner. Super appreciative that they organised breakfast earlier for us in order to catch our flight.

Location was far and away the most beautiful spot to view the Douro valley. We had a room with a terrace and it was lovely to sit and just take in the views. the pool location was stunning and the breakfast was great as was the dinner in the restaurant. the staff were lovely and very helpful. we also had a complimentary tour and tasting of the vineyard and the girl was extremely knowledgable. It was also in a good position to explore the Douro valley. You do need a car or a driver.
Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.
The location has a beautiful view of the mountains and valley. Dinner was excellent, and we enjoyed socializing with travelers from other countries. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the amazing hospitality of our host, David. He was incredibly friendly and instantly made us feel welcome. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future. Highly recommend this stay!
We spent an amazing time at this guest house and the host was super friendly and helpful. The view is wonderful as is the wine they produce that was offered to all guests in the social area for tasting. We will come back for sure and this time try their dinner serving.
Clean and comfortable guest house, quite new and very functional. Excellent hosts, very friendly family happy to give advice on the area. We ate dinner in the kitchen and was excellent on both occasions. Breakfast also very good. Location about 20-30 minutes from lots of vineyards and other things to do. Shared areas are comfortable too.
A great guest house with Miguel as a superb host and the dinners are well worth it!
