Offering rooms with impeccable rustic style décor and garden views, this inn just 30 km off Machu Picchu, features red-tiled terraced Spanish galleries and views of the surrounding scenery. The place is a gem! We had low expectations given that the property was next to the train station, but we only wanted a bed and breakfast after a long day hiking at Machu Picchu. We arrived later than expected (around 11pm) due to a delay in our train departure of more than two hours, but the reception made very easy the formalities such that we could get fast to our room. We could not see much of the property in the evening, but we were happy to find we had a huge room, heated, and with bathtub in the bathroom! The place is unexpectedly quiet, with a beautiful garden and plenty of places to relax. You can also walk to their garden and see their production of fruits and veggies which are used in the kitchen. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the garden, admiring hummingbirds, and all in all we can only recommend the place!

B&B Chayana Wasi features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ollantaytambo. The owner was very helpful, and it was possible to leave our luggage at his place. Me and my girlfriend can recommend this place!

Situated on the foothills of Pinkuylluna, a sacred Inca mountain, Apu Lodge features cosy regional decor with exposed stones and colourful tapestries. Lovely staff, great set up, solid breakfast and that too served at 5am so we didn’t leave hungry for our hike to Machu Pichu. Loved it

Characterful large room in traditional house, very clean and comfortable. Quiet location yet easy walk to restaurants. Helpful hostess and good breakfast. Pretty courtyard with geraniums and mountain views.

La Chakana Pisac in Pisac provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. calm place, beautiful cosy rooms, stephen was really lovely

Set in Urubamba, 2.1 km from Bus Station, Las Casitas del Arco Iris offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Las Casitas was such a nice place to stay, it has unbelievable energy, we even extended our stay (twice). The territory is wonderful with a garden, which smelled so nice, and dedicated yoga place. The school that the owners support is a very important project for the community. We really looked forward to returning ‘home’ every day in the evening, walking through the garden, lighting a cosy fire.. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, breakfast was great (as well as lunch and dinner), all amenities worked excellent. I would be very happy to return here one day, it definitely added many good memories to our trip and stay in Urubamba.

Hostal Apu Qhawarina is set in Ollantaytambo, within 18 km of Bus Station and 19 km of Main Square. Staff were lovely, very helpful and helped us store luggage when we left for the evening. Nice breakfast also. Very central
