Offering views of the sea, La Loma Jungle Lodge and Chocolate Farm is located in Isla Bastimentos, 10 km from Bocas Town. It is a cool remote location, where you can really switch off and enjoy the jungle. The food was great and the service exceptional! The greatest part was a sloth that enjoyed his time super close to the main lodge. We also really enjoyed the farm tour and could try a lot of the organic produce.

The attention to detail and way the rooms and hotel grounds were carefully curated was so unique and beautiful. You could tell a lot of time and effort goes into making sure guests have a unique experience, and I surely did as part of my stay. The location was perfect and easy to get to the main island and other islands within Bocas - not to mention the views over the water were insanely beautiful. The breakfast options in the morning were terrific and all the staff were so helpful and thorough in their duties . The owners were amazing and helped with suggestions on activities, transportation, and overall everything that you needed to know to have a great experience. They were super friendly and helpful, and they made my experience so much better by being just really good people. I’ve already recommended Casa Aquario to friends and family, and I look to go back again in the future. 10 out of 10 experience.
