Rancho Juancho is 7 km away before reaching Portobelo. Sited on a short and steep hill, it offers the perfect height for the enjoyment of the best view of the Caribbean. Where you will find a natural place and total relaxation. The best hosts I've ever met, they couldn't have been more helpful, even took us to their favourite river swimming hole.
It is truly beautiful! The tours are great and the staff is super friendly. We had a lovely buffet dinner. You see a lot of animals.
The pool was great to cool down after a busy day. It's in an outstanding condition. Optional breakfast was great and there is a possibility to order dinner.
Upscale boutique hotel. It is in a remote location in the mountains with beautiful views, but also offers guests a beach experience. Dinner is served by attentive staff on white tablecloths. We spent a relaxing 3 days there and we’re sorry to leave

Spectacular location, resort's overall cleanliness, amenities and beach (we had a block of beach for ourselves as we went from Thursday to Friday), with amazing crystal clear water and white sand. Perfection! Apartment is really spaceful, clean and nicely decorated. Lunch & dinner options in the resort's restaurant are great!
Christian treated us like VIP's. After we told him it was our anniversary trip, the hotel surprised us with a special cake the next day. Room air conditioning was perfect, great room WITH a tub. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious. Even had a fresh fruit smoothie bar!
very clean and organized. From my room I could see my cruise ship which is about 700 foot away. Fortunately they have a good breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet and an adequate bar. This area is rather industrial and I didn’t even try to leave the hotel.
The room is simple but has hot water, and ocean view, location is the best, we took our kayak and could paddle in and out, we even went out for dinner kayaking (restaurant in a neighbor hotel).
