We liked everything. Excellent hotel with access to a gym, Finnish and Turkish saunas and a swimming pool. Repairs are underway in one part of the premises, but this did not bother us at all. Good cleaning and very friendly staff (I think they are Ukrainians). We really liked it. Wonderful hotel!

We had such a amazing stay at Alexander Hotel. The rooms were very good, clean and well equipped. All the staff members were very friendly, helpful and everybody understood the meaning of hospitality. We really felt at home! The first evening we had an amazing dinner at Dylans, the second day with enjoyed our Kingsize Sun Lounger at the beach arranged by the hotel and our dinner by sun down at Alexander Beach Club. Picture perfect! It was very nice to use Azzurro’s training facilities during our stay! We will definitely come back!

The staff were very caring and attentive. We had a booking at another hotel and when we arrived there was no reservation for us so it was super disappointing and upsetting. We then booked Postillion Hotel Dordrecht and had great service, lovely dinner in the hotel and good night's stay.

This hotel is particular in the sense that it floats in a canal. Rooms are in the "basement" with view on the the waterline. I particularly liked the dinner restaurant with its gourmet menu. The cuisine is top class and worth the trip to Rotterdam.

Huge family room, great location, really helpful and friendly staff on the front desk and at breakfast. Kids loved the pancake machine! Excellent food hall in the same building made dinner time super easy.

We had booked a total of seven rooms out of which the bed of one room was broken. At night we told them that they did not change our room and they are saying that we do not have a room and after that when we asked them for plans for dinner, they refused. We used to sit at the reception. When we were with our family, they used to tell us to go to our rooms. Don't sit here, they were very rude and we did not enjoy it. We will never go to this hotel again.

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in for a lovely stay. Our room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. We had and exceptionally good dinner in the Lido. Breakfast was outstanding. The shuttle bus service to the cruise terminal was a great touch.

Strandgaper is a rustic guest house located beside a lake in a suburb of Rotterdam. If you're up for some cycling, hiking, swimming, boating, fishing or just there to relax by the lake, it's a perfect location. Don't have fancy expectations of a grandoise 5-star hotel because that it certainly is not. I was there for its location and it suited me fine. My room was large, spacious and overlooking the lake. But of course in terms of room amenities it was nowhere near an urban hotel. But would I return? Definitely !!
