Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, guest rooms at Herberg de Zwaan Elspeet have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are equipped with a balcony. They were really flexible and could help us with everything, every little detail was perfect about our stay. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the location, the staff and rooms was best of bests. loved the decor. the room is huge so we had plenty of space. the cafe is a great place with an amazing music library! it was a shame we were only staying for one night.

We loved the rustic feel of the house, and it was nice and spacious, well-equipped with all the basics you might need in a kitchen or bathroom. As an extra bonus, the family had chicken who would come an greet us every morning on the door and really helped you to get that rural feeling of the Netherland. The surrounding village is also absolutely adorable with all its cute farm houses and their animals. We were able to pet many goats and horses on our morning walk.
The hotel has a charming medieval restaurant on the main square of historic Bredevoort with excellent home-baked cakes and a decent lunch/dinner menu. This is also where we were served breakfast. The 7 hotel rooms were in a separate restored building behind the restaurant. The new owners of the hotel/restaurant (and most of the staff) are really friendly and welcoming. The town of Bredevoort and the surrounding area are stunning and we just adored our hikes and cycling trips. We also just enjoyed drinking a beer on the terrace.

Beautiful hotel, rooms large and spacious, breakfast selection was excellent and we had dinner in the restaurant - food was wonderful.
An old building beautifully restored and modernised and a welcoming owner - wonderful. There are places to sit and relax indoors and outdoors. Our room was huge! We were on a cycling holiday and, with heavy rain forecast, we were welcomed early. There's garage storage with charging for bicycles. Dinner choices - buy something simple at the supermarket (and use stuff from the dining room), a simple café opposite or drive/cycle/bus into Elburg. An excellent breakfast.

We expected smaller room, but the size of the room (De Baron) , view to the river etc. were exceeding our expectations! Breakfast delivered to room good idea, expecially when you need to leave early. Cleanliness excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was very pleasant experince. Restaurant visited by a lot of local people - the best recommendation! Family atmosphere, nice staff.
Location was great! Easy to find, and the property is gorgeous! Off- street parking, lots of space, good communication from the hosts, and it is in a really pretty area. Good location for Slagharen park. Its a converted Victorian shop/children's school, with bags of rustic charm, whilst being incredibly modern. The bats flying around (outside at night) were lovely to see. It would have been great to have some information about the history of the building.
The glamping tent was super. It has everything you need. It has dishes, pans and pots, bedlinnen and a super nice area to explore and play for the kids.
Delicious dinner in restaurant. Beautiful detailed map. Breakfast was excellent. Our hotel room had two separate bedrooms. A real luxury. The hotel has a beautiful location in green surroundings
