Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.
Located in a very quiet village near the sea, this marine-themed location was very comfortable. We did not have the chance to meet the owners, so we will thank them here :-) The location was spotless clean and very near to the places we planned to visit, so it was a perfect base for sleeping and having dinner. The kitchen was furnished of everything necessary to cook.
It was in a quiet location. Had a kettle in the room as well as water and a small fridge. Although the place was out of town it was easily accessible via a bus. The bed was extremely comfortable. They have a locked bike shed. The staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was super. I didn’t get chance to try dinner as it was fully booked. Big windows which open for ventilation and thankfully, light-excluding curtains.

Breakfast was good.you got a tray with smoothies cheese,ham and fresh bread.followrd by croissants and jam.also had a choice of cooked breakfasts.very good and attentive service.dinner choices weren't as good and the fishneeded cooking more to crisp the batter.
Well located in the centre of town. Cute, comfortable room with good storage available. Loved the restaurant, fantastic breakfast and excellent dinner. Lots of bicycles available. Lots of tv channels available

About 30 min walk from the city center (a bus line is also an option). The room was nice and clean, industrial style interior design. A comfy bed, breakfast a la carte gives a feeling of a real restaurant experience. We liked the fact that the hotel was run by the students of the hotel school, extra polite and obviously well-taught. A prior dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant is required (a nice menu for a more than a reasonable price). Therefore we couldn't dine there on the evening of arrival, which is understandable.
