Set within 7.6 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 3.3 km of North Borneo Railway, 5 Minutes Airport Lodge provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kampong Patagas. The staff were really helpful, even offered to help me book my taxi at 2am if I struggled but luckily it was easy enough to find a grab car to get to the airport! The room was exactly as expected, basic but comfortable and clean. And the hotel was an easy 15 minute walk from the airport, just across the highway - there is a walking bridge, which I did during the day.

The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was really comfortable, the facilities were amazing (water filter, kettle, tea and coffee). I liked how I was able to control the lighting in the room and there was also a desk.

We had to stay in Semporna for one night before getting our flights back to Kota Kinabalu the next day and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. We have two kids and the environment was such a contrast to the chaos and business of the town centre. We arrived late afternoon and the kids spent most of the time in the pool. Unfortunately we were unable to get dinner on Grab due to driver availability and Jay the owner’s son was so kind he let us help ourselves to the bread and spreads in the kitchen. The best part for me was the shower. The shower was amazing. Semporna needs more of Chan Living Inn.

It has spacious bright room, clean, comfy, accessible and close to town, friendly staffs and the wifi works very well 😃 and last but not least you can do your laundry with your own detergent of course ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
