Smārde
Located in the small village of Ozolpils, Sanders Motel offers simple rooms with private bathrooms. It also has a sauna. Free private parking is available.
The Sanders’s rooms feature bright, pastel colours and wooden furniture. All are heated and include a TV set and DVD player.
Easily accessible by car, plenty of parking opportunities. Nice hosts. Water kettles and a small fridge available in the common area. As the sauna was not in use, common area was available as a lounge.

this place is a working farm with farm animals and garden beds. it was a good surprice for us and our children to pet
,rabbits play with the dogs and eat fresh vegetables and berries from the garden

Pūteļkrogs offers family friendly accommodation in a green, quiet area 5 km from Tērvete Nature Park. It is surrounded by nature, yet close to the motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi.
All the rooms in Pūteļkrogs are simple, bright and painted in light colours. They all have a TV.
Comfy beds, clean rooms, great breakfast option (reasonably priced additionally), has a trampoline for kids in the yard, hospitable hosts. Quite good location if You wish to see some places in Tervete (a few minutes drive with a car to most of the attractions there).
Kandava
Located in the small town of Kandava near the Abava River, this guesthouse is 100 km or about a 1.5-hour drive away from Riga.
One of the oldest buildings in town, the Pils is situated near the ruins of the Old Knights Castle and the Powder Tower. It offers comfortable rooms, a coffee bar on the ground floor, and an outdoor terrace, where in summer you can enjoy your meals with a view of the castle.
Very clean and friendly Hotel. With a look to a stork's nest. Stayed there as a cyclist only for one night.

I have travelled a lot but this was really an exceptional stay - one of the best experiences ever had! Beautiful design, style and decorations all over the building, restaurant, rooms and the large outdoor area. Fantastic food for dinner, as well as large portions of very tasty breakfast. We will definetly come back!
Very quiet, clean place, In a good location. Available Sauna and hot tub for good relaxing for couples and small companies of friends. Breakfast available. If staying for a longer time available lunch and dinner. The rooms are very clean and fresh.
We enjoyed the apartment a lot. Everything was thought of. It was very clean and for a couple there is enough space. Place itself is quiet and nice to enjoy silent weekend. They had everything needed for the cooking in the kitchen. Some board games and even basketball ball was available. There is a playground for kids in the are. Sea is really close within a walking distance. We also enjoyed SPA and a dinner at the territory.

Very Beautiful Palace Grounds and cool museum with lots of information and history The Room was very beautifully decorated and cozy. We had room service dinner provided to us and the staff really put in the extra effort. The best part for us was the service from the staff.
This was our second stay there and it was fabulous. Just so unique and tastefully renovated. Also if possible ask for a tour of the historic village and the castle itself at the guest house. Bonus hidden gem Soviet memorabilia - starting from box of matches to mopeds and cars. Thank you so much.
Amazing Location, green and very beutifull spacious area, scented towels, necessary tools. Also in the first flore big dinning area, so very comfortable with group.
The Ragnar Glamp houses are located on the property of the guest house "Divas Upes" ("Two Rivers"), and the owners of the guest house (Tomass and Dace) are the hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable, and our dog was also very welcome. The location is spectacular and quiet; we felt removed from the rest of the world. Make sure to order dinner at the guest house. Tomass' grilled lamb was excellent!
