Weingut und Gästehaus Apel is situated in Nittel, within 28 km of Trier Central Station and 29 km of Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier. Very nice rooms, modern clean and bright. We had a balcony. The staff was very helpful and nice. We had dinner at the restaurant which was also good.

Absolutely loved staying here, only wish we stayed more than one night! The room and accommodation itself is lovely and has a wonderful vibe to the place. The communal kitchen area is lovely. We were particularly impressed by the bathrooms - good shower, nicely fitted, with some cosmetics for communal use which is really helpful when you're travelling and can't pack/carry everything you would normally have. We were doing the Mullerthal trail so it was a lovely place to stop off for a night. The host was SO helpful as we were later arriving than we thought we would be, and her kindness was very much appreciated.

Wein Erlebnis Hotel Maimühle is set in Perl, 23 km from Luxembourg. Guests can enjoy the slow food restaurant on site. Excellent room and facilities. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was excellent...one of the best we've had in Germany or France. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The hotel was in an essentially residential village but an easy 5 minute drive to Saarburg and retail services.

Set in Merzig, 43 km from Trier Theatre, Gasthof Schmitt offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. A great little place, it was Easy to find, had lovely cold beer in the bar. Comfy bed so I slept really well after a long journey from the north west of England. The Fantastic breakfast set me up for the long second leg of my journey to Slovenia. Owners were lovely and friendly. A really pleasant stay.

I really loved how i arrived inside and it was so warm! The floors were warm to at arriving and it made me feel so comfortable. It was also very clean and the customer service was great they responded really fast all the time. Will definitely come again!
