Uppuveli Beach, Trincomalee
Featuring a garden, terrace and views of sea, Blackstar Inn is set in Trincomalee, a few steps from Uppuveli beach. The property is around 2.2 km from Trincomalee Railway Station, 3.4 km from Kali Kovil and 3.9 km from Gokana Temple. This pet-friendly inn also has free WiFi. We had an amazing stay at Trincomalee thanks to Blackstar Inn and the host Terrance! Terrance was very kind and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The appartement is great with a very nice balcony with see view. We loved to have breakfast here :). Accommodation is (almost) ‘on’ the most beautiful beach of the area!
Trincomalee
Located in Trincomalee, 100 metres from Uppuveli beach, Bon Voyaage Tourist Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Located around 1 km from Dutch Bay Beach, the inn with free WiFi is also 2.8 km away from Sandy Cove Beach. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, and currency exchange for guests. Very hospitable hosts. Beautiful old mansion very conveniently located near bus station and some beaches.
The place is very close to the beach. (The description says the rooms have ocean view, but that's not the case) The men who is helping the owner is very friendly and willing to help with everything. We asked for extra pillows, towels and a garbage bin and all was arranged very fast. The restaurant is super nice; for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very nice beach villa with balcony and sea view. Big and comfortable bed, big bathroom with toiletries. Good breakfast and good food for dinner with three course menu.
One of a kind! Food was a major highlight: best breakfast with many options, dinner by the beach was wonderful too. Beach is calm and completely empty apart from hotel (beach is not as nice as neighboring Nilaveli but is still great). Lush green and open-air spaces make it super nice. Most friendly and attentive service. Room was excellently designed, spacious and very comfortable. It’s a relatively large place but never feels crowded.
Had a wonderful two night stay at Pearl Inn Green. Delightful, friendly owner who also ran the resort. Nilaveli beach a short walk away. Lovely, quiet place to relax and switch off for a couple of days. Very well appointed bathroom. Excellent value for money. Would stay again. Thank you 😊
The inn is well located, near bars and restaurants and less than 10 minutes away from the beach and beach food court.
We chose to stay in the city rather than a beach hotel and did not regret it. A lively street bazaar is a block away. The inn is in an historic house that has been renovated. Our rooms had air conditioning (not all rooms have it), which helped keep us cool. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.
We had a great time staying at Vibushan Guest House, Samira and his family were lovely hosts and made our stay in Nilaveli very easy and relaxing. The food was delicious, our favourite was the pancakes and fruit salad for breakfast and selection of curries for dinner. The room was clean, good AC and shower. Samira also helped us organise the trips and activities we wanted to do in Nilaveli and Trincomalee which was really helpful. Thank you Vibushan!
