Hosts are super sweet, you really feel welcome. Nice kid friendly pool and the pension is only a small walk from a lot of different restaurants
Pension has a cute western pension appearance on the outside. Owner is very kind and took his time to provide directions to local attractions around 경주 city. Rooms are clean. Functioning kitchen.
Fantastic location. Nice looking, very well kept, traditional, property. Good mix of Korean and Western style (we had beds, no floor mattresses). The owner was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, pity we had a very copious dinner the night before and were not feeling that hungry. Plan accordingly :) There are a few parking spots right in the front of the property on a first come first served basis.
Cute little guest house, rooms were spacious and comfortable
This was our first stay in a hanok, and it was a pleasure to see the old style building. We were lucky to have the bathroom in the room, as some rooms have a dedicated bathroom that is across the inner yard, The location is good - only minutes to key bus stops and a great museum. Be aware that the KTX train station is 10 miles away (45 min with 2 buses) - the closer station in the description closed down in 2022. The 8am continental breakfast includes coffee which is fantastic, as most cafes don't seem to upon until 10am.
Great location very central and accessible to the sites of Gyeongju. Hanokinn was very pretty and traditional. The hosts were amazing knowledgeable about the local area and very happy to explain what to see and how to get there. The Madam host was an amazing good providing a special breakfast every morning and was welcoming and friendly. They both spoke good English and made guest feel very special.
Wonderful guest house experience with helpful and friendly hosts.
I loved everything about this guest house and specifically the fact that not only was it close to the Royal Tomb complex, but it had a family atmosphere where all the guests ate breakfast together. This meant that we made many connections with other travellers, which helped ease the loneliness of solo travel. The guest house is like staying in a family home. The breakfast, though simple, was plentiful and more than adequate. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it 100%.
Hanokinn is a beautiful and welcoming inn. Mr. and Mrs. Kim are lovely hosts who are proud of their inn, as they should be. Our room was so lovely. The breakfasts prepared by Mrs. Kim were delicious and very filling. We felt well cared for. This stay was definitely a highlight of our time in South Korea.
Mr Lee - the owner - was very enthusiastic in suggesting itineraries and recommending restaurants. That saved my own efforts to find information. I truly appreciate that. This experience in fact motivated me to look for in the next city for accommodations with enthusiastic owners. In Daegu, it was Bomgoro Guest House.
