Very nice spacious Japanese style room, with newly furnished floors and bathrooms (the lobby was simple and under construction, so seeing the super clean room was a pleasant surprise!). I liked that the toilet and shower are separate rooms, there were amenities available to take, mini fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water. It was nice that we could also leave our luggage before check in (although it is strictly at 3PM since the owner is working on the construction himself). We could also see the Fujisan from our window, and is a short walk to the famous Honcho street, Gekkouji train station, a big supermarket and Arakuyama Sengen Shrine.

Tea and coffee available for free at the reception. Cosy room with comfy beds and nice Fuji Mountain view from the window. 7eleven just in front of the house, family market across the street and good restaurants and lake in very close proximity. Bike rental available (we did not make use of) and good access to hiking trials, lake side just across the street 250 m walking distance. Bus stop in 5 min walking distance to go to Kofu or Shimoyoshida. Would come back any time !☺️

We enjoyed the included breakfast and the indoor and outdoor bath. Location was tranquil and convenient by car with plenty of parking.
