The gentleman was very accommodating and allowed us to check-in earlier. It's a beautiful farm environment with a quaint feeling for the buildings you can admire. The decor within the place was extremely beautiful. Lovely plants and a really clean and beautiful feeling within the room. There's absolutely no reason to not choose this place to stay while in Longford! He also recommended us where to go for dinner which was super helpful. Breakfast was divine and I loved that he played Norah Jones!

The owners were lovely. They made your stay feel like home. Directed us to where we could find food for dinner.

Friendly staff. Cosiness of the pub. Sleeping above the pub--i was afraid of noise but there wasn't any--Steak dinner was well-cooked and tasty. Full Irish breakfast in the morning.

Loved the room. Great coffee a complete bonus in the room . Mint tea .. definitely a winner

There was no breakfast!!! But we had dinner in the bar in the evening and it was excellent.

very friendly hosts, beautifully renovated period house , room & beds comfortable, in the countryside but only a 5 minute walk from small village, food good in the rustic inn, asked what we wanted for breakfast, good Irish breakfast that was served to us, 10 minutes drive from centre parks.

The house is as restored 18th/19th century residential home and it has been done with great taste. About 7 minutes walk from the house is a very good restaurant/pub called The Rustic Inn. I had a very good 3 course dinner there - their wine list is very good considering that its a small rural village. The combination of Abbeyview house and the nearby restaurant makes this an ideal setting for a short visit to the locality

The Couple are fantastic. If you are arriving late in the middle of the night they would keep awake guiding you untill you get to the property safely before they go to bed. The rooms are very spacious and warm with ensuite. The living room big and tidy. With TV and upholstery sofas. The kitchen/dinner very spacious and clean and well equipped. The bath and showers very easy to use and sparkling clean. I wished I could stay longer but I had to go.

Beautiful guest house

Susan is a wonderful host - nothing seemed too much! We had a wonderful room with a stunning bathroom, the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area on foot - walking along the tow paths on the Royal Canal, taking in part of the Famine Way. The Rustic Inn is close enough to walk and the food is very good.
