This is a stunning and unique property. It is absolutely beautiful, luxurious and relaxing. The dinner and breakfast we had were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Great location, beautiful view to the countryside. There is a “parking place” for horses in front of the place. Our bicycles were stored I. A safe place. Dinner was exceptional, a stew made of deer, shot by one of the hosts a day before. We tasted wine produced by the hosting family and had some talk with them. It was like visiting friends.
Dinner. I have been twice at this hotel and the food is very good.
Great restaurant for dinner
Convenient location for transit travellers from the track. Although there are no restaurants nearby, in the evening you can buy groceries and fresh baked goods at a gas station shop close to the guest house. Large parking lot on the territory under video surveillance behind the fence. The gates are constantly closed and are opened with a remote control, which is attached to the room key. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room is small with air conditioning.
Breakfast is average good, dinnig room very nice, staff also. The sink was leaking and we cannot switch air conditioner, but the staff fixed it (when I asked).
Everything was absolutely perfect! Check-in was smooth, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and the service was perfect. My only regret was that we didn't have more time to appreciate all of the amenities. It is definitely a hotel I would like to stay at again.
Location, parking, dinner
We stayed at Öregtölgy for a friends wedding. A few of us in apartments and the rest in the large guest house so best of both worlds. Both were great, with good facilities. The site was lovely, with a bbq, outdoor seating, rabbits, chickens, cows etc. Triple glazed windows so couldn’t hear them ;-) The friendly cats and dogs made it feel home from home. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would happily return and explore more of the local area, and enjoy the pool when it’s finished.
We were able to store our bikes in a secure place in the hotel. The room is spacious and there are tables outside were you can sit (we had dinner here).
