Right on the beach. Less than 5 minutes walk to the port and restaurants. Christos and his father have made a very nice and enjoyable place. Great for 2 couples travelling together. 2 separate units in a garden. The island is nice but a car is needed to discover Chora and Monastry etc. Christos also has cars for rent. Very convenient. Follow his recommendations for lunch and dinner places. They were great.
Wow! A fantastic pension. Good location and close to the harbour with fantastic restaurants and tavernas. Super friendly owner who gave you a very warm welcome. Room was clean and functional. Comfy bed with a great view over the bay. Lovely terrace overlooking the bay and good for watching the sunset with a G&T in hand.
The Big Blue was the perfect place to stay. The host met us at the ferry and explained everything about Amorgos and our accommodation. The pension is in a perfect location with fabulous views.
If you are looking for the real greek athmosphear...a clean room, silence, in the miidle of a small.local Village, with few family tavernas .around you That s the Place. And the owner Is really a special person
Very clean rooms, with large balcony and a beautiful sea view. Short walk to local tavernas, beach and local bus -(uphill on way back). Lots of additional seating areas within the property to sit in the shade.
We had a great stay at The Big Blue. The pension is located a bit up in the hill in Katapola which makes from a stunning view on the sea. Room was very clean and comfortable. Then there is Christos who was super welcoming and helpful. We were able to rent a car through Christos and it was very smoothly and convenient. I can only recommend.
Pension Titika is a little gem. I stayed for a week and had a really lovely time listening to the gentle waves lapping on the beach from my little terrace. The room was comfortable and cosy and I felt very much at home. The pension is in a really great location with everything you need close by and Katapola itself is a really charming and laid back spot with nice tavernas, great walking trails and genuinely lovely people. Titika is a really lovely host and it was a true pleasure to meet her and stay in her pension. I will be back -)
Everything as it was our second visit and we wanted it again Location outside of the port in a quiet almost semi rural feeling with the beach a 5 minute walk away. Exceptional Greek hospitality from Marios ,family and staff. The Taverna attached is a Zorba experience of wonderful Greek music supplied by Marios and friends on their music nights.The food for breakfast ,lunch or dinner only adds to it's unique attraction .
