The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious. The choice of breakfast was fantastic and the food in general is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again when I visit the area.

Awarded 4 stars with a silver accolade by Visit Britain and surrounded by Surrey’s scenic countryside, The Princess Royal is situated just outside historic Farnham in the village of Runfold. All staff were very attentive. Upon learning that I was pregnant, they upgraded my single room to a double room. Room was clean and wi-fi was good. Parking place was sufficient and blackout cutains were worked very well. The breakfast and the dinner were quite sufficient and tasty. In the room, the mini-fridge included complimentary still and sparkling water, one beer, and a small milk. This is a feature that is hard to find by UK standards.

Situated in Godalming and within 16 km of Frensham Great Pond and Common, The Rose & Crown has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. I wanted to say goodbye to the hosts, because they were charming. I couldn't as we missed each other at that time. Please pass on message. Thankyo

Set in Bramley, 26 km from Box Hill, The Jolly Farmer offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Brilliant pub, lovely staff, great food, great beer. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Would recommend!

Set in Frensham, Bel And The Dragon-Churt offers a garden, terrace and bar. The property features a children's playground and free WiFi throughout the property. The room was very cosy, we liked the interior design a lot (the attention to detail is amazing), the bathroom is really nice and warm. Friendly staff. Personal touch (like the complementary gin and variety of coffee available). Very delicious breakfast (one of the best we tried).

The Plough Inn in Coldharbour enjoys a pretty location in acres of National Trust woodland, around 4 miles from Dorking. The Plough Inn was a wonderful little place to relax before heading out of town via Gatwick. The pub was wonderful and the clientele was friendly and fun.

This Grade II listed coaching inn offers free private parking and is a 10-minute walk from Sandown Racecourse. Everyone was lovely and the rooms were quaint and comfy. The homemade brownies each day were delicious!
