Situated in Snowdonia National Park, Penhelig Arms has a waterside location at the mouth of the Dyfi estuary. It offers fresh seafood and a range of other dishes, and has a real log fire in winter. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Dog friendly and lovely spacious room. Excellent food in the restaurant and the breakfast was good.

What a wonderful find, excellent location. Stunning view and a newly refurbished garden/patio. The staff and local customers were super friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The room was simply amazing. I felt like a king, everything was clean, the room was gorgeous and big. I haven't been this comfortable sleeping in a long time, for a solo bed it really felt like a king bed

The location, express booking in, the staff, the room, the menus. Bar selection. Clean and tidy room, this time a twin, sharing with grandson, tea/ coffee making facilities,TV, g8t shower, heavy duty towels, ace pillows, breakfast menu, the chefs smoked salmon n scrambled egg, nothing is too much trouble if you wish to mix n match off the menu not a problem, the evening meal this visit I had the burger and wow it needs another name it was ACE..pet friendly lovely big field at the side of the hotel for your furry friends to stretch there legs...well done brigands, we will be back.

This hotel features boutique style rooms with Spanish oak furniture, a coastal dining inn offering a wide variety of real ales, and locally-sourced food in North Wales. Convenient location; clean, comfortable, large room with a great view of the sea. Pub downstairs served an excellent dinner and, since it was Friday night, we got the fish and chips special for only ten pounds each. Our host, Gavin, was cheerful, helpful and hard-working - he did everything! We were really impressed by him.
