Situated in Much Wenlock and with Ironbridge Gorge reachable within 7.9 km, The Fox features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This 3-star inn offers room service. The staff was friendly and kind. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The local people in the pub were friendly. We met Reg and his dog Charlie. There were many dogs staying at the inn. The town is darling. One of our favorites. Highly recommend.

Featuring a shared lounge, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Old Post Office is located in Shrewsbury, 26 km from Ironbridge Gorge and 27 km from Telford International Centre. As advertised, a genuine building with character and charm. It makes a great change from a premier inn. Location right in the city centre but in a quiet courtyard. I was there mid-week so it may be different on the week ends with live music. I had dinner at the pub twice and both meals ( slow-cooked belly pork and lamb shank ) were really well prepared. The bar had a good selection of beers. Both the room and the meals were great value for money.
Bridgnorth
Featuring a restaurant, a riverside beer garden and a terrace, Bassa Villa is a grade II listed character Inn situated in Bridgnorth, on the banks of River Severn. Free WiFi is available. The location was amazing and awesome the staff were very friendly and helpful,the bed was so comfortable we both had a great night sleep. we would highly recommend to anyone and will be going back again.
Shrewsbury
Located in Shrewsbury, The Haughmond features a garden with a terrace and an on-site bar and restaurant. The location was great. Food in the restaurant was excellent! Great staff and the owner was a great host and very understanding!
Clun
The White Horse Inn, Clun has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Clun. The property is situated 49 km from Ironbridge Gorge, 50 km from Elan Valley and 300 metres from Clun Castle. Great place, friendly staff, amazing food, parked outside in the street. Centre of town, round the corner from the castle. Also dog friendly. Perfect stay. Will be back
