The location was at the end of a drive, which we were unable to drive our motohome down to, which meant the access for our disabled parents was less than ideal. We expected to be close to the pub so that our parents wouldn't have to go far for their evening meal and this wasn't the case, so we had to go shopping for food to cook. For an able-bodied person this is a fantastic place to stay, but for our parents it was a bit of a struggle.

Set in the village of Roslin, The Original Rosslyn Inn is an idyllic village inn, just 8 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre. This family-run property has a traditional pub and a fine dining... The staff were very friendly. Reception staff stayed open a little as we were running late for check in. This was much appreciated. Cute room with lovely colours and a bath and good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was large and was great for both someone who loves haggis and black pudding and also a pescatarian or vegetarian.
