Guest House, bathroom, beds and cleaning
We really enjoyed chatting with Thomas about surfing and hiking :) The music in the morning. The cosiness of the dinning room. The fact that I asked for a firm mattress and we did get a very good one for my back. Thank you so much!
My accommodation was class v old school the bed very comfy. TV a little small but fitting the bathroom was lovely the shower amazing. Woke in the morning after a wonderful nights sleep to the sound of the neighboring cows doing what cows do . The Country Inn nice touch.
Excellent location, good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Very friendly helpful staff.
Great location , lovely stylish property, great views over the city, great staff member called Carly I think and could pull a great pint on Guinness
Location Excellent, Breakfast excellent. Staff helpful, friendly especially the concierge (can't remember his name) who helped us when we arrived (and gave us leaflets on where to go in Derry) and helped us checkout. And also the main barman who was working Sunday evening and early Monday evening very helpful and friendly even though he was very busy. We had our dinner on the Sunday night in the bar and it was lovely.
All the staff and waiters/waitresses for dinner the Friday night were amazing, they couldn't do enough was very comforting with a 9 month old baby. Breakfast was delicious the morning after.
The staff were so good to us throughout the stay, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was lovely, it was small but we were the only ones using it for most of the time. The rooms were spotless. We had our dinner there and it was lovely as was breakfast.
Room, location, quality and price of Dinner.
The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. The Iona Inn is a no-frills guest house, it does exactly what it says on the tin. There is a nice bar downstairs also, great for relaxing in after a day out walking the walls of the city.
