Luss
On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional Inn offers classic style rooms within the main building.
Guests can enjoy The Inn Bar & Restaurant, along with beautiful loch views. There is Wi-Fi throughout the Main Inn although some public areas are limited.
The view from the room was peaceful and amazing, giving straight on the Loch Lomond. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, the arrangement for a Prosecco bottle on arrival was waiting for us as asked. The bed was super comfy as well.
The staff was really friendly, they even helped us with some complementary rolls & coffee to take away, as we were leaving really early to hit the road, and couldn't be there during breakfast hours. I will absolutely recommend.
Balloch
Situated next to Balloch Rail Station, Tullie Inn offers comfortable accommodation 1 mile from Alexandria town centre. Free WiFi is available in all public areas, and free private parking is possible on site. Perfect place to visit Loch Lomond, very close to the boat trips marina. Also close to the railway. The personnel very friendly and helpful. A lovely place, very scottish.
Balmaha
Standing in the shade of a magnificent 500-year-old oak tree, this traditional bar/restaurant is ideal for those wishing to escape from the rush of modern day life. The non-smoking inn is adjacent to the West Highland Way and is ideal for walkers. After a long day spent exploring the region’s magnificent scenery and breathing in the invigorating fresh air, you can satisfy your hard-earned hunger with a delicious meal. Food is served all day and the bar has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and a real log fire. Really lovely venue. Local pub vibe but with nice cosy rooms. I stayed in one of the pods and it was warm, safe and secure with good parking outside. The restaurant on site you can book a table in is cosy and there is table ordering if your Sat outside. There is a shop and coffee shop on site as well. Very easy to locate and almost directly on the loch so you can easily start a hike from the venue out round the lake. Overall a great stay and would recommend for a get away. Fantastic staff as well, felt very looked after.
Beautiful location, ideal for exploring Luss. Quiet, well-appointed room with comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful hotel team. Excellent dinner (the beef and haggis pie was exceptionally good) and breakfast. Thank you!
The property was very nice, clean and charming. A proper country inn with everything you would expect for a relaxing break.
dinner was very good
We received a very warm welcome from Steve, our host.. The room and house were beautiful and so comfy, we slept like babies. Breakfast the following day left us full all day. The b&b was exceptional and so close to the Oak Inn. Make sure you book food fantastic. Also, the Mocha cafe. I had lentil and carrot soup, delicious. It's definitely worth a visit. Loch Lomand was gorgeous, too. Thank you both for such a lovely stay x
dinner (bar meal)
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The food and breakfast and dinner, even the afternoon coffee in the coffee bar. The staff were all very nice, helpful and polite. The location was really good with a nice walk beside the lake. A great location to break off our long journey from Liverpool to Inverness.
Comfortable bed, good shower, nice dinner and breakfast
Chloe welcomed us very nicely and with many helpful information. The Anchorage is very well located in Balloch. Easy to find and we could park directly at the car park of The guest House. We easily found a place for dinner and to get breakfast the day after The room was clean and perfect for our stay with our daughter.
- The location, we had amazing views to the lake. - There’s a bar just next to the guest house where we had a very tasty dinner. - the room was nice with smart TV, comfy bed and nice bathroom.
