The host Chris was very welcoming and had some very interesting stories to tell us about the property and area. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane in the kitchen a good choice of gluten free , a great breakfast & evening meal of a very high standard. We had a lovely 2 nights stay & would certainly go back. I loved everything, from the moment you arrive, the pub is picturesque, warm welcome and shown to your room. refreshment provided which was nice after a long day travelling. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. The room was clean and comfortable. the location is peaceful with plenty of parking. highly recommended

I travel a lot for work and I have to say the whole experience was above and beyond , I would normally stay in major Chain Hotels but this was a great experience .One of the nicest breakfast , the dinner was five star . Very comfortable and with tea and coffee making and toiletries. Food in the restaurant was also excellent and cooked by the wife of the host. Best Sticky Toffee pudding ever!! We were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend it to others.
