Lovely warm welcome d and very helpful Receptionist, and later restaurant server ( ?Sha.) peaceful and quiet town. Lovely decor and facilities! Dinner good but breakfast perfect! Delightful Staff! Recommend it, Emily and friend, Marianne ( not a couple .. friends in twin beds, which does not fit into any of your categories!)
Room clean, breakfast delicious but sausages way too salty, staff always helflpfyl and friendly. Dinner que was too long didn’t have dinner there but I loved to.
As I had an early flight booked from Ediburgh and I was travelling from the west by car, this was the perfect place where to arrive, have a shower, have dinner, spend a night and leave early in the morning (24hours checkout available). Easy check-in, clean room, easy and free parking right outside the room.
Booked here as a stop gap from swansea, before continuing to glencoe. Very welcoming and lovely guest house. The owner was great and very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. This kept as full all day. Would definitely go back.
The dinner was very, very good and the staff were very attentive. The room was very spacious and quite and we could park right by the room.
This was one of the best places we stayed in Scotland, mostly due to the welcoming host and the many toys we found for our son in the shared lounge. Scott the host gave us a lot of tips for dinner, however we ended up ordering in due to the aforementioned toys. We were able to eat in the lounge which was great. We also got tips on where and what to order for takeout. Comfortable beds, quiet location, nice breakfast. Highly recommended!
Friendly welcome by reception. Good value dinner and breakfast. Buffet breakfast was exceptional. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious.
I had a warm welcome at this historic inn, which has been comfortably modernised. A highlight was the excellent evening meal that I ate there - Balmoral Chicken followed by a raspberry crumble.
· The Hotel is a Great Hotel ( When you actually find it ) Nice Toby Inn with a Good Carvery, Comfy Bed & spacious room at very reasonable rates. Ideally located for M74 but just a shame it is advertised as Toby Carvery, Strathclyde, M74 J6, by Innkeeper's Collection when it is actually located at Toby Carvery, Strathclyde, M74 J5.
