Located in Bowland Bridge, 10 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare & Hounds Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The breakfast was fabulous, the rooms were incredible comfortable and the nature around the hotel is wonderful. We have a small dog, and had a great walk in the morning before breakfast. Also the dinner was perfect after a long day of walking and exploring. You could warm yourself next to the woodfire, with a refreshing cider and a happy and tired dog at your feet. Highly recommended.

The staff are very friendly and efficient, the rooms are comfortable, the beers are well kept, the food is delicious and the breakfast is really tasty. And it is located in a beautiful part of Cumbria. Highly recommended.

We had the chance of a perfect weather and this place was absolutely marvellous. The walk around to the lakes was one of our best experiences in England. The restaurant serves very good food.
