St Ouen's
The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.
The Prince has been refurbished to a high standard, and has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. You can dine on freshly caught seafood in the popular hotel restaurant, overlooking the beach and sea. A bar is also available on the premises.
We wanted a quiet couple of days on Jersey before joining a tour so I chose a seaside spot well away from St Helier. The taxi driver who took us there told us, "There is nothing there!" He was wrong. We love being outdoors- the weather was perfect. We had a brilliant view from our room. The hotel was old and interesting. We took the spectacular clifftop walk to fabulous Plémont beach (found the giant puffin statues by accident - wow) on the 1st day and went on a longer but easier walk high on the cliffs to Devil's Hole the next. Lovely lunch at the inn there. Wildflowers everywhere.
Staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable - from receptionists, bar and dining staff to cleaners. They were so helpful and friendly! It was great to have the pool and garden area during a hot stay. Breakfast was tasty and had a range of options. The one dinner we ate in was also delicious. The location was perfect for travelling into Gorey or St Helier and was quiet and peaceful.
The price and location. Its a guest house so didn't expect much bur the owner was very helpful and responded to our written query very promptly
The view! Comfortable clean rooms. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Good choice of dinner and lunch menus.

Good choice, but fried egg burned and bacon fatty. Continental choice limited.. Avocado on sourdough excellent. Service very attentive. Superb dinner in Bohemia.
The Moorings, is charming, tasteful, comfortable and very clean. You are always warmly welcomed, the food and customer service is excellent. The Terrace after dinner is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.
Perfect for what we wanted.. simple room, little balcony overlooking courtyard. Dated but more than adequate room in an older fashioned guest house.
Very friendly staff who made me feel welcome as soon as I got to the hotel. Great location and right on the sea front. Great breakfast and plenty to eat. I had dinner in the Greek Taverna and the food was fantastic.
