Very good hotel, staff were very good, from the breakfast staff to dinner to the bar staff. Very clean hotel.
Excellent guest house in a great location with a beautiful breakfast and all the rooms were spotless ,Paul and Lisa were brilliant hosts .Thank you xx
We stayed twice at the Welbeck - at the beginning of our stay and again on the last night. I really liked the hotel. Perhaps a little old fashioned but really clean, really friendly, really comfortable with the added bonus of there being a bar for a relaxing drink in the evening. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment upon the quality of food provided.
Nice view at breakfast. Nice people. Very good dinner. Location cannot be beat.
The conservatory restaurant was light and airy and spacious. The mainly young serving staff were friendly and helpful. The food (cooked to order) at breakfast and dinner was excellent. We asked for a corner room and the hotel was able to allocate room 204. This was quiet and spacious and bright with a window looking down the street to the sea. A few minutes walk down to the promenade it was an excellent location
Everything about this place made us happy. From the very beginning everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ideal location and super instructions were given to get to the property. Breakfast was fabulous and the facilities for tea and coffee making were 10/10.
The Hotel in process of updating. It was beginning to look tires
Breakfast was adequate, although the tea was from a portable urn and was undrinkable. Dinner was good. Staff were very pleasant. Excellent piano player in dining area.
nothing much about the guest house, i cant believe the reviews or photos of the place
