The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. My family & I love The Hoops Inn. The staff are warm & welcoming & the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The food is also fabulous! We keep coming back as we're very happy staying here!

The Mary Tavy Inn has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Tavistock. The property is around 8.5 km from Lydford Castle, 13 km from Morwellham Quay and 18 km from Cotehele House. Super nice hotel with new layout in an ild fashioned, but fashinable way. Rooms are pretty, clean and comfortable. Restaurant is comfy with many fake fire places and inviting to stay for a game of chess. Outside lovely view and garden. Food in the restaurant was really delicious.

Situated in Totnes, Hunters Lodge Inn features accommodation with a bar, free private parking and a garden. The accommodation offers free WiFi throughout the property. We were treated like family. Breakfast was exactly how we wanted it cooked, even my slightly quirky requests were fulfilled. Room was large and very comfortable. Set in a beautiful quiet village in leafy lanes with friendly locals. Car park was more than ample for the 3 rooms. Grahame and Sue, not only own and work the property, but they joined everyone in the bar socially in the evening after Sue had finished cooking her excellent evening meals.

Boasting a garden and a restaurant, Castle Inn is situated in Lydford. Guests can have a drink at the bar. All rooms in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. wonderful location, charming ambience, friendly staff, convenient parking, wonderful food including continental and hot breakfast

Set in the village of Broadclyst on the outskirts of Exeter, Red Lion provides a garden. Located around 7 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, the inn is also 6 km away from Westpoint Arena. Beautiful quiet pub. Staff fantastic. Plenty of free parking. Meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. Room was a good size with large shower and plenty of hot water. Would definitely come back and I recommend this pub.

Situated in Tavistock, Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a bar. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk. At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a TV. The Cornish Arms is a real treasure! This is a traditional fine dining pub-hotel combination, with both components fulfilling the highest standards. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very quiet (we couldn't heat the pub at all); ours had a hedgehog theme. Spent a peaceful and relaxing night in the very comfy bed. All the amenities are brand-new but well selected to reflect the historical character; nice decoration details. Check-in was smooth at the pub bar doubling as reception. Without reservation, we got a table in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was simply stunning, with local specialties reinterpreted by a splendid chef. The hotel is in the middle of the market town of Tavistock (with parking in back), just minutes away from a beautiful mountain view of Dartmoor (check out the sunset). Picked up lots of souvenirs in the local deli (around the corner) and farmers' market, all within walking distance.

The Dartmoor Inn at Lydford has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Lydford. Located around 20 km from Morwellham Quay, the inn with free WiFi is also 25 km away from Launceston Castle. Gorgeous property on the edge of Dartmoor. Super comfortable, great food. Lovely staff!

Set in Newton Abbot, 7.7 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, Dartmoor Halfway Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Wonderful place, room, pub/ restaurant, grounds and staff so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, coffee and tea in room, and a bottle of fresh milk put outside the door in the evening and in the morning.

Situated on the banks of the River Dart, The Steam Packet Inn offers a restaurant and free WiFi access. The historic town centre of Totnes is just a 5-minute walk away. Excellent, location, great food and drink and welcoming staff. Ideal place to sit with a cider in the sun next to the river Dart. A short walk will take you to the river ferry that takes you into Dartmouth for the day. We are going back in July.
