The meals were excellent dinner and breakfast. The village is gorgeous and should be very proud of the work that has been done on the inn…. Just a wonderful little gem.

On the east shore of Loch Lomond, this award-winning family-run country inn is constructed from locally quarried slate and offers a perfect tranquil location for a romantic or relaxing break. Oak Tree Inn is a beautiful hotel with a restaurant that serves delicious food and drinks. I stayed there after walking from Drymen. My room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. It was warm and inviting. I enjoyed the breakfast, coffee was the best! Highly recommend this hotel.

The property was recently renovated and is in good condition; the new owners have put a lot of time into making it hospitable and attractive. Parking was easy and the location cannot be beat! Walking, hiking, and so many activities right outside the door. The hosts are very considerate and even included milk for tea/coffee in the small refrigerator and plenty of tea bags and extra coffee. The pub is welcoming and the food was great. Fantastic place and we look forward to returning!

Situated in the heart of Falkirk, The Orchard Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a bistro restaurant. Really lovely staff and clean tidy room. Nice added touches like a sandwich and drink in the room fridge, this was very welcome after a long day travelling
