A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Hotel, a 4-star 15th century inn. Guests can enjoy contemporary styled interiors, Anglo-French fusion cuisine and free Wi-Fi. Loved this place - being so old it has some quirks like sloping floors and low doorways (which added to the charm). Our beautiful room was above the dining room and at first we thought the noise might be a problem, however we probably had the best sleep of our entire holiday. Outstanding food and atmosphere, and absolutely amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble and every single staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and genuine. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer.

Just for starters , the operators wife and husband do an excellent job making your stay a good experience! They want you to return! This family-run Victorian coaching inn, set in the beautiful village of Waddesdon, offers comfortable accommodation with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Everything was perfect for our wedding night. The staff allowed a friend to decorate the room. The staff were charming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you.

This hotel dates from the Tudor period, but the inside reflects the very best in modern design. It is featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, as well as the TV show Midsomer Murders. They couldn't have been more helpful. 5 star staff 5 star hotel. See you soon.
