Fabulous place, great location, very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Lovely rooms and excellent food. Spacious, beautiful bar area with a great atmosphere. We were made very welcome and we will definitely return.

The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn, with 9 cosy rooms to welcome you. Great value for money and excellent location. Lots of cute restaurants in the vicinity for breakfast. We are very thankful to our hosts who kept our luggage safe after we checked-out as we wanted to do some more exploring before leaving.

With a great location just 1 km from the A34 and 1.5 km from Newbury town centre, the hotel has been refurbished to reflect its 17th-century heritage. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and cozy, and we had everything we needed, even Nespresso coffee. Parking was nearby our room and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was very beautiful and we also admired how lovely the restaurant area was.

I recently stayed at the Three Swans Hotel in Hungerford, Berkshire and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The decor was traditional yet modern, giving the room a cozy and inviting feel. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches such as a complimentary bottle of water and biscuits. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of Hungerford and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Despite being in the town center, the room was quiet and I had a great night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food at the hotel's restaurant. I had both breakfast and dinner there and was blown away by the quality and taste of the dishes. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the steak at dinner, it was cooked to perfection. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Three Swans Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hungerford. The staff, room, and food were all top-notch, making for a memorable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Situated 10 miles from Royal Windsor Racecourse, The Bird In Hand is a 14th-century four-star inn, 4 miles from Maidenhead. Beautiful country pub. The staff were incredible friendly and helpful and the food was great!

Set in Compton, 21 km from Newbury Racecourse, The swan at compton offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Staff were really helpful and friendly, our room was comfortable and quiet. Perfect for what we needed.

Set in Newbury and with Newbury Racecourse reachable within 14 km, Five Bells Wickham offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This 4-star inn offers luggage storage space. Everything, mostly how friendly and helpful the service was. Even the pub isn't noisy from the room, and everything looks like it shut down by 11. Also the water bottle in the room is a wonderful touch!

Located in Stanford Dingley, 15 km from Newbury Racecourse, The Bull Inn Pub provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and quiet (the pub was closed as I was there). The staff was friendly.
