Rooms were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Both the evening meal (salad starter, fuck breast with pasta, cheese, and home made tart) and breakfast (croissant, bread, copious coffee, lots of different jams etc.) were first class. locally sourced wine was very drinkable, and at around €15 a bottle, great value.

GITE AUBERGE L'HERBE TENDRE features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Saint-Pierre-dʼEntremont. This is a lovely small hotel with a public kitchen you can use, and a restaurant downstairs. The town is an adorable French Alps village, with shops and bakeries etc., plus great walking. They catered to my gluten-free needs at breakfast, too :)

This Auberge was one of my highlights in regards to accommodation in France.

Situated in Gruffy, 20 km from Bourget Lake, Auberge du pont de l'Abîme features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The staff was excellent. Our dogs were very comfortable there. The breakfast was memorable in a great way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
