This location is STUNNING - high on a hill top, overlooking the incredible mountains. The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern and I can't honestly say anything negative about it. Our host helped organise taxis and used whatsapp audio to send us information which was brilliant. In the shared area there is a water fountain to use, free muffins and access to tea and coffee. The bedrooms are lovely, a TV, air con and an incredibly comfortable bed. There is a sun terrace that is great - great views with a couple of sun loungers to use.

The apartment was very clean and stylish, and located in a quiet area, with free parking only 10 minutes walk to the beach. Jose Marie was onsite and helpful with every request.

At the guest house, the rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. very well located as it is close to all the monuments, restaurants etc. Could not have been more helpful. Speaks English and Spanish. Rooms are elegant and have everything you need and are very well laid out. public parking is accessible and available.

Andrés and the Lady were both very kind and helpful. The refridgerator and micro we could share with the others rooms' renters. Comfortable bed, towels and sheets smelled very good. Room was very clean.

It is well run and the host is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. Common area kitchen worked fine. There is also a common sitting / eating area. Be aware that this is very basic accommodation, but it is clean, safe, friendly. I give it 10 out of 10 in it's class. Alcala del Valle is NOT like it's neighbour Setinel- if you are ready for a break, then this could be a great option. And if you are walking, the dirt road from Setinel to Alcala is very picturesque (and the track to Olvera even better!)
